Sunset Rock & Reset Wine Down (Open Event)

Join us for a POUND workout followed by a wine & unwind session as the sun goes down!

Instead of listening to music, you become the music in this full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and pilates-inspired movements. Using Ripstix®, lightly weighted drumsticks engineered specifically for exercising, POUND transforms drumming into an incredibly effective way of working out. KaToya Sumner is a big smile and big personality POUND ICON located in Atlanta, GA.  She stays ready to bring the fire and energy, to unite all in movement and rhythm, and she’s always ready to have a good time!  KaToya teaches classes all around the city of Atlanta to rockstars of all ages. She enjoys staying active and exploring new activities. She’s a jump rope enthusiast, avid road cyclist and an energetic POUND ICON. You’ll want to come and soak up all the good times in her engaging POUND sessions and trainings.

What’s one word or phrase that perfectly sums up your energy? MAGNETIC!

What’s your secret weapon for building confidence in your students? Connection. I strive to make any small point of connection with each student so that they feel seen and accepted. Ready to show up as their most authentic self! 

What’s your go-to music genre? I love all genres! When the beat leads I’m all in! For a POUND class I lean toward POP, SOULFUL ROCK and HIP HOP vibes!
