Get out and active! We're exploring hike locations around the Atlanta area and will be following with a stretch session led by Health Coach & Fitness Instructor ARW Member, Lindsay Wenndt!

We will be meeting in front of the visitor's center at 9 AM and start on the hike at 9:15 AM. It's a moderate hike at 3.3 miles with views of Old Mill and skyline views of Atlanta on clear days. Here's a link with more details on the hike! For this hike, there is a lot of rocky terrain so hiking boots are recommended. If anyone is interested, we will be going to lunch afterwards.

Parking: $5

Sweetwater can take credit card payments, they prefer cash (credit cards often have to be charged in the visitor's center, so it's a bit of a hassle). 

It's a good idea to bring: For this hike, there is a lot of rocky terrain so hiking boots are recommended. Remember to pack 2 liters of water, a snack, sunscreen, bug repellent, poncho or rain jacket, cash for parking, and a first aid kit. Wear moisture-wicking layers as cotton is not recommended for hiking.
