Meet Miesha Henderson
Founder of Sisters Empowerment
Movement
When I was in High School I always wanted to be in the Fashion Industry. I knew I had a Passion for Fashion. I loved to thrift clothes and make them my own by styling them as I pleased. I was accepted into Clark Atlanta University for Fashion Merchandising but life had other plans for me. Fast forward to 2014 I knew that I still had this passion. I started Explicit Monae Couture which I named after my daughter Maleah Monae. I began selling clothes and styling women. I saw how this made women feel, the feeling of Self Confidence in themselves and being Empowered. I realized that I had the ability to Empower, Motivate and Encourage my fellow sisters. November 2018, I started having small group sessions with great responds I knew that I had to do more. With encouraging my sisters I was encouraging myself as well. I realized that this is a Movement for All of Us that's when I created "Sisters Empowerment Movement".
